Inventory and Materials Coordinator

With an excellent benefits package and competitive wages, we are seeking an Inventory and Materials Coordinator who will perform input of actual production results into the accounting ERP system to properly capture operating costs and material consumption. The transactions performed by the coordinator will directly affect on-hand inventory balances and records of usage, and thereby provide the base of information necessary to the proper planning and purchase of direct materials.

The Position
Location
The position is located at the AMETEK Reading Alloys Plant, 220 Old West Penn Avenue, Robesonia, PA 19551.
Reporting Relationships
The AMETEK Reading Alloys Inventory and Materials Coordinator reports to the Materials Manager. The position has no direct reports.
Summary of Responsibilities
1. Perform a variety of duties related to the materials/inventory function.
2. Maintain files, records, and documents related to the materials and production reporting function.
3. Primary role is to precisely enter handwritten production reports into ERP system and to investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies.
4. Calculate inventory transactions and make entries into computer.
5. Verify receipt of goods, perform receiving transactions, deliver goods to point of use locations, prepare goods and associated paperwork for shipment.
6. Participate in cycle counts and property wide physical inventory counts.
7. Proactively participate in the continuous improvement of the workplace.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
