Sales Manager, New Business Development

Position Overview As the Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and generating new business opportunities to ensure maximum exposure of the company in an established region or territory. Responsibilities Identification of new business opportunities through new customer acquisition, relevant diligence, approval and prospecting/presentation Recovery of lost business, relevant diligence, approval and prospecting/presentation In office preparation/sales meetings/coordination inclusive of maintenance of the new business tracker, reporting of progress Administration/consulting for Sales Organization on open issues Coordination of new business through the C&S Corporate Development process.Proforma request templates, credit applications, regular new business meetings, document processing responsibility, interface with legal and credit as needed Interface with Accounts Receivable on both payment status and proposal approval. Presentation to potential and existing retailers the necessary documents for credit and new business approval and the subsequent internal follow-up. Support the sales team as needed around existing and new customers Qualifications High School Degree 10 year retail/wholesale with independent experience Finance background. Experience with interfacing through all relevant areas of a wholesale grocery organization, merchandising, accounting, finance, logistics, credit, legal. Proficiency in Excel, Point and Outlook as well as related third party applications such as Bectran perferred. Self-motivated individual with strong work ethic, strong organizational, time management skills and problem-solving skills. Highly effective written and verbal communication skills. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
