Position Overview
As an Inventory Control Lead, you will compile and maintain records of quantity and type of merchandise stocked in the warehouse.
Cycle count pick slots
Validate empty slots for discontinued items
Reconcile warehouse scratches
Audit and correct receiving paperwork
Monitor and ensure accuracy of vendor returns and salvage sales
Research and resolve inventory variances
Slot checks upon request
Assist with training of Cycle Counter and Specialist
Monitor associates workload and adjust to meet daily goals.
Provide input at associate review time or as required
High school diploma or GED
One year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent communication, problem solving, and computer skills are required, along with attention to detail.
Ability to do the follow activities: reaching, stooping, climbing, balancing, lifting, pushing, carrying, driving, sitting, handling paperwork, pulling and gripping items over 60 lbs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
