Department Specialist

ACME, a division of the Albertsons Companies, is currently searching for a Department Specialist to join our Transportation team.
Albertsons Companies is one of the largest food and drug retailers with 2,300
stores.
The Albertsons Companies family of brands includes some of the most prominent brands in food retailing, with a growing base of loyal shoppers.
Successful candidate will be responsible for completing a variety of specialized duties that support functional operations within our Transportation Department.
Responsibilities Include:
Maintains complex records Responds to inquiries in area of responsibility Collects data/information for department use in special projects or reports Answers department phones as needed and routes to appropriate area Review information/data and makes decisions within well-defined guidelines, parameters, and instruction Examines and prioritizes documents to determine work to be completed or best course of action Collects information for specific department reports Creates and maintains complex reports Sorts, files, and maintains invoices, receipts, contracts, or other special department documents Compiles minor statistical data Coordinates special programs and/or events Sorts and bags the mail for Safeway and ACME stores JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Reading, writing, math and communication skills at a proficient level, verbal and written Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel Ability to follow verbal and/or written instruction Be detail oriented, ability to be organized, and strong analytical skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
